Exeter Machine Co Inc, located in Lomira, WI, has been in operation for more than 40 years. We’re proud to be supplying nearly all of our fleshing machines to US-based packing houses.
Exeter History
In the late 1800’s the Chas. H. Stehling company was founded in Milwaukee, WI. The business specialized in setting up and outfitting tanneries. The business quickly grew to one of the largest and most successful tannery outfitters in the country, supplying tanneries all over the world and revolutionizing the tanning process.
In 1977 the fleshing machine division was bought out and the name was changed to Exeter Machine Co. and moved the company up to its current location in Lomira WI.
